I started at Social Influence Studios as a video editor in February 2025, took on the scriptwriting that April, and stepped into Creative Director in June. Concept, script, and final cut now run through one person.
From the edit bay to leading the creative. February 2025 to today.
Came in on the timeline, cutting short-form and long-form for the studio's roster of creators and brands. High volume, tight turnarounds, and where I got sharp on what keeps a viewer past the first second.
Took on the writing as well. Hooks and scripts for the same videos I was cutting, so the words and the edit finally came from one head. That is when the numbers on client reels started jumping.
Promoted to lead the creative. Concept, script, edit, and the ad variations that decide where the budget goes. I direct the work and still cut it myself, so nothing gets lost between the idea and the export.
Not one slice of the process. The whole run, from a blank timeline to a shortlist of variations ready to test.
The idea before the edit. What we are saying, who it is for, and the angle that has not been run into the ground yet.
The first line and the story after it. Written to earn the next second, then the CTA, without sounding like an ad reading its own bullet points.
The cut, the rhythm, the frame you hold and the one you drop. Pacing is the difference between a scroll and a watch.
On-screen text, light motion graphics, and sound design that carries the beat. Enough to feel produced, never so much it buries the product.
One winner becomes five. Different hooks, opens, and cuts so you can test into the version that scales instead of guessing.
I take the guidelines and hold the look across every cut, so a premium brand keeps reading premium in the feed, not just on the site.
Most of what I cut sits in the 6 to 20 second range, where paid social is won or lost. Hook in the first second, hold through the middle, land the CTA before anyone thinks about scrolling.
I work from whatever the brand already has. Raw UGC and creator clips cut to feel native but read like the brand paid for them. Product shots, lifestyle footage, and AI-enhanced visuals turned into something with momentum. Old footage recut so it performs again instead of sitting in a folder.
Then I build the winner into variations, so the account has fresh angles to test and the cost per result keeps dropping instead of fatiguing.
I do not cut for the applause. I cut for the number that tells us the creative worked, and I read the account to see which one moved.
Bring me the ad data and I will tell you which cut to kill, which to scale, and what to test next.
I do both, so here is both. Short-form cuts on one side, and what the scripts did to real creators' numbers on the other.
Absolutely blown away. First time and I am sold. He delivered exactly my vision. So easy, super responsible, on time, and I am literally so happy.
Worked with Hammad MANY times and will continue to. His work, communication, and understanding of the scope needed is phenomenal.
Consistently delivers high-quality work and knows how to take a video to the next level. I recommend him without hesitation.
Send me one video you are running right now. I will recut it and send it back, no invoice, so you can see the difference before we talk about anything else. If it stops the scroll harder than what you have, we keep going.
